The Dance is a place where we gather to dance to the specific music we collectively know and appreciate. The ‘the’ arriving in the English language from the Caribbean. This adds a centrality and importance to the dance.
The Dance becomes a place for sharing ideas, building new perspectives, and inspiring new movements. This tradition has existed across cultures, in Ireland, it is called the Céilí.
The Dance is powered by Covenant Soundysystem. We are blessed to have this sound with decades of experience in the dutch reggae and dub scene at the center of the event.
