Brooklyn Sway Records returns to Zion in downtown Brooklyn for another record label showcase. This time we're bringing a handful or artists all of whom have tracks on the label.
DeWinter, who is 1/3 of the electronic live band N/UM, will be performing a live show, and has produced tracks on 3 out of 4 releases on the label, including his track "Ozon" on BKS-01, a collaboration of "Numbers" on BKS-02, and alongside his band N/UM for "The Way" and "Any Time" on BKS-04. N/UM are coming off a very big Halloween weekend with gigs at Cityfox @ Avant Gardner on Friday night and Montreal at SAT (Society for Arts & Technology) on Saturday night.
Also on the bill is NYC favorite David Paglia, who's contributed 3 tracks so far to the label with his 4th on the forthcoming BKS-05 due early next year. In addition, David has releases on Soul Clap's Gator Boots, NYC's infamous Nurvous Records, and Good Company Records to name a few.
Jay Prouty is the label head of Brooklyn Sway and has contributed tracks to BKS-01, 02, and 03, as well as executive producing all releases. He has long history of collaborating with David with releases dating back to 2015; and has been dj'ing underground house music since 2000.
Emma is an NYC veteran and former resident and co-founder of Vinyl Please, a weekly underground house night that ran for 3 years in Williamsburg's beloved TBA Nightclub, and has performed all throughout NYC including Output, Aftermoth, and the Office to name a few.
Rounding out the lineup are a couple special guests who you don't want to miss! We'll have copies of the latest vinyl releases on hand so swing by the booth, say hi, and grab one.
