Mayo
Amsterdam’s mayo is a musical multiped, whose path is rather unruly than unlogical. Her DJ sets, as well as her first releases, prove that she’s not easy to pigeonhole. With a focus on downtempo electronics, EBM and techno, she weaves together a wide array of musical styles. Taking music lessons at a young age, she discovered she couldn't commit to one program. By playing the drums, the guitar, and the saxophone, she worked towards a playfield of her own. Inspired by many musical styles, ranging from punk and metal to reggaeton, mayo eventually moved towards DJing and music production, which would channel her unstoppable energy best. With whatever available to her, she managed to brew her experimental sounds into electronic punk music carrying her uncompromised disposition of character. After years of programming in the dark, mayo offered her debut EP “Sad Violin Music” (United Identities), followed up by the "Frenemies" EP (Fides) as well as multiple one track releases on Brokntoys and a more recently a haunting remix on the Berlin label R.I.O. These releases present her unapologetic approach, her sense for detail and hunch for sound design. Her self-built modular synth takes the lead in her sonic journeys. Following the ghosts in her cables, she creates immersive tracks, driven by sinister drum programming.

Both coming from Moravia and living in Prague, Martin and Nicolas already knew after the first time they played together that they would continue to do so. In Prague, they gained momentum thanks to playing at events such as CUKR Kolonie, ONYX, San Trancisco and playing in clubs Ankali, Fuchs2 and Altenburg 1964. Together with INTT and Inger Illel they founded the recording label Amphibian, which focuses on releasing music and organizing events. Under the label Amphibian, they appeared on VA Various Habitats and later on VA 4UA, which was released under the Prague label Unizone.

phil in a maze is a musician, DJ and sound artist based in Prague, one of the residents at Ankali club and Brno's Vitamin, plus a part of the team behind Deviant event and mix series.
With an ear for breakneck syncopation and rattling low end, phil's work subverts genre conventions, writhing around a vast range of influences: from drone and noise to murky dub, oldschool dancehall and system-shaking dubstep all the way to halftime d'n'b and UK steppers. Always true to the DIY ethos, most of his work is self-released (and self-realized) but has also appeared on several VAs and been transmitted on Rinse, Noods, NTS or Radio 80000.
Ana Mi
„During almost 10 years behind the decks, the boundaries between genres disappeared for me. I move from straight to broken rhythms, throughout all the bpms. There are no rules but everything is underlined by something mysterious. My most favorite setup for ambient is tapes-records-digital-field recordings and pure dance parties are mostly digital only. „
Ana Mi studies sound design. Her thesis is about imaginary soundscape. She does field recordings of nature and implement it in my production, Sancti events in Brno with local heroes of the scene and preparing a new label called Mysteria.
