Since 2016, Hamburg's iconic Golden Pudel Club has played host to ACID TEARS, an electrifying party night that has become synonymous with a unique fusion acid, dark wave, EBM, electro and new beat.
On November 17th, ACID TEARS starts the first edition in Berlin at Arkaoda, hosted by the resident DJs Bobbie* and Levente together with guests Ofra and Betonkust on the basement floor + La Carpio and keos.club on the upstairs floor.
Rotterdam-based Ofra is a record digger who loves to share her music always and anytime, whether it’s through an intimate listening radio show or a steamy nightclub set. A lover of Wave, New Beat, EBM and Electro, she also holds a special place for Punk and Shoegaze music. Over the years she has created her own rich music palette as a curator plus DJ and in 2017 she co-founded the Rotterdam-based online radio station Operator. Ofra’s eyes and ears are extra alert when curating programs to connect artists and music lovers. Besides, Ofra has just started her own record label Yarrow Ballet.
Betonkust is a producer, live act and DJ from Rotterdam. Over the years he has produced countless EPs, LPs and remixes for many different labels, including Clone, Pinkman and Dekmantel. Easily switching between melodic electro and dark acid tracks (and everything in between), Betonkust has played successful shows at clubs and festivals all across Europe.
Known for his 100% hardware live sets and equally energetic, dancefloor-friendly DJ-sets.
