NIQUE - If you’ve even remotely been close to the scene, you’ve felt the beat that NINE RECORDS has been inundating the globe with, which DJ, producer, remixer & owner, Nique, has been firmly entrenched in. With his Spy Bar residency in Chicago, frequent overseas tours and monthly radio show “Total Warmup Chicago Edition” he sets new aim on spreading a virus of Nine Records unique sounds.
FREDERICK ZAHM - Frederick Zahm is the cofounder of Souvenir parties along with his wife Noemi. From a very young age Fred was influenced by schranz and hardcore electronic music (Manu le Malin, dj Rush, Chris Liebing). After a few years going to German clubs, he moved to Paris and began spinning records around the age of 17. His music morphed into techno and finally minimal house techno. He has had the opportunity to play in France and Germany before moving to Chicago two years ago. Over the past year, Souvenir has delivered some of the most unique and memorable underground events in Chicago; specializing in underground, cutting edge, deep house, techno and minimal techno!
VINCE GRIMALDI - Born and raised on the Southwest side of Detroit he was exposed to electronic music at a young age. Early in his career of Djing he held residencies at local after hours around Detroit such as 420, Club 911, Rehab and Body. Around 2000 he began A.O.D.( Arsenal of Democracy) after reading a Detroit history book. At that time he wanted start doing events. His first party was NYE 2001 at an empty loft on Grand River and Woodward. A.O.D. from that point forward became to be know for one off parties around the city of Detroit show casein talent from the likes of The Surgeon, Advent, Tony Rohr, Scan 7, Adam Marshall, Barem, Camea and most recently The Wolf + Lamb Crew Ghadi, NRP SoulClap just to name a few. We are looking forward to hear Vinnie bringing some deep textures of tech-house to the table.
