Fresh from our 5th birthday celebrations, here at Juke Joint we make no attempt to slow things down. For our next event we return to the basement of YES to host two Manchester debut sets...
Headlining is footwork legend DJ Earl - a revered name of the footwork and juke scene. His early work with the Teklife crew, alongside the likes of DJs Rashad, Spinn and Gant-Man, was at the forefront of a style that reshaped dance music worldwide during the first half of the 2010s. More recently his second album on the highly regarded Moveltraxx showed his work has only improved since those early days.
Speaking of Moveltraxx, alongside DJ Earl we have label boss Big Dope P joining to really take this party up a level. Moveltraxx has gone from strength to strength in recent years, with a consistent stream of heavy hitting releases. Big Dope P's own productions are often the choice cuts on those releases and we are buzzing to hear him smash out a set full of them for us!
Alongside these 2 heavyweights we have a bunch of local Manchester legends on b2b duties, such as Hanz b2b Dan Traynor and Shannon From Admin b2b Poison Ivy.
