Inter City Breakbeat X Human Resources

  • Inter City Breakbeat X Human Resources are taking over The Cause on the 8th of December. Joining forces and combining sonic weaponry to bring you our biggest party to date, with a huge line-up spread over two floors. Put it in your calendar, call in sick because it’s not one to miss! Inter City Breakbeat are taking over The Gallery for a night of no nonsense raving! The legendary Krome & Time bringing hardcore and jungle flavours from their extensive catalogue. Turntable wizardry from Distant Planet’s very own Louise Plus One and Hughesee, and Devon’s Road Recordings head honcho Rhi Spect going B2B with partner in crime Junior Buzz . Choki Biki label boss, Sharpson is coming with his infamous “reverse DJ set”. Skywalka and DJ Drinkwater showing us that the scene is safe in the hands of the next gen. To round it off we have ICB mainstays Ted Breaker and DJ Lessons doing what they do best! Expect mental amens, shades of hardcore, more pianos than Steinway and plenty of dubs for the whole gang! Rave Conflict Resolution delivery service Human Resources are pulling back up to Canning Town to provide Room 2 with excessive basslines and the usual assortment of eclectic rave flavours. They’re bringing to London the toxic waste infused beats of Australian musical shapeshifter Mutant Joe. Uk bass experimentalist Cocktail Party Effect will also be joining the HR department with his hard and unpredictable deconstructed dancefloor weapons. To complete Room 2’s epic line up is HR’s usual gang of misfits, London’s favourite dubstep fairy proto//squid, Roman bass charmer DE:MA, plus our residents, brutalist breakbeat trickster void_response and ghetto overlord dj-hotline 333. If you were there at their first party in September, you already know the drill, if you weren’t, come to see what you missed! Room 1 - Hardcore, Jungle, Rave Room 2 - Electro, Ghetto, Techno, Bass, Breaks, Dubstep artwork by Hila Angelica We appreciate (especially given the current climate) that not everyone has equal access to a night out. For some the struggle to go and dance without breaking the bank is a very real one. We will therefore be running tickets at affordable prices! We’re also running a collection on the door for Newham District Foodbank so please bring along a tin of beans or whatever you can to donate! <3 “50% of children across the borough live in poverty and 30% of local jobs still don’t pay the London Living Wage” 18+, No ID No Entry, No Re Entry Any racist, homophobic, transphobic, or any kind of slimy behaviour will not be tolerated.
