THE ARTISTS:
- Anthony Middleton, the visionary co-founder of Audiofly, has redefined electronic music with his groundbreaking soundscapes. His unwavering passion and unparalleled ability to weave emotions through his music have propelled the genre to new heights on a global scale.
A lifelong devotee of music, Middleton's journey began at the tender age of 8 when he composed his first piece. Enthralled by the burgeoning acid house, early rave, and techno scenes of the UK, his passion intensified in 1992 when he acquired his first synthesizer. Soon after, he made his DJ debut in Marbella's iconic clubs, electrifying audiences with his mesmerizing performances.
After refining his production skills in the mid-1990s at one of the UK's pioneering music technology schools, Middleton became a cornerstone of London's vibrant dance music scene. However, a genetic illness forced him to temporarily step away from his beloved craft. During this challenging period, Middleton embarked on a path of self-discovery, delving into meditation, practicing Tibetan Bön, and further honing his production techniques under the tutelage of renowned producer and musician Merv de Peyer. While this setback could have signaled the end of Middleton's musical aspirations, fate intervened. In 2002, a serendipitous encounter with Luca Saporito led to the formation of Audiofly, a duo that has since etched its name into the annals of electronic music history.
- Kanykei, the dj and co-founder of the AIONIA collective. She is based in NYC with recent performances in venues such as House of Yes, Hearsay and Burning Man alongside artists such as Kimonos, Davi, Rebolledo etc.
- Hoss, is the resident DJ of HQUEUE and has performed in multiple venues in NYC and Miami - such as Do not sit on the furnture - alongside heavyweights such as Einmusic, Sabo and Goldcap etc.
