Es geht um Bass!
Schlachthofbronx haben ihr neues Album MORE RAVE AND ROMANCE veröffentlicht, auf dem sie basslastige Clubmusik in all ihrer Vielfalt zelebrieren. Auf dem Album vertreten sind das Grammy-nominierte Grime-Schwergewicht Flowdan, Dancehall-Chefin Warrior Queen, Lady Lykez von Hyperdub, die in London lebende lettische Diva Eliza Legzdina und andere (Saint Lucia Soca? Dänischer Dancehall? New Orleans Bounce? They got you covered!). Das führte dazu, dass die neuen Songs in zahlreichen Radioshows liefen und die Clubs in ganz Europa vom speziellen Schlachthofbronx-Bass erschüttert wurden. Das brachte ihnen auch einen eigenen Mix auf BBC6 ein. Klar das sie MORE RAVE AND ROMANCE und die Basskultur auch bei uns im Gretchen feiern.
Sicaria tourt um die Welt und eines ist klar: Sie repräsentiert die Zukunft des Dubstep und steht für alle interessanten Variationen des 140bpm Genres. Außerdem ist sie Resident auf Mala's Deep Medi Platten und treibt ihr Sounduniversum konzentriert und unermüdlich voran.
Juba ist 200% Energie: Mit ihrem einzigartigen DJ-Stil erforscht sie Club- und Rave-Musik in all ihren tanzbaren Facetten - aufregend, progressiv und energetisch. Sie ist Teil des Partykollektivs Boko! Boko! neben Mina und Tash LC, produziert Podcasts und Dokumentarfilme und nutzt alle ihre Plattformen, um gesellschaftspolitische Themen rund um die Welt der Musik zu erforschen und zu verbreiten.
Yung_womb ist Gründungsmitglied des SLIC Unit Kollektivs, einer Gruppe von DJs, Künstler*innen und Tänzer*innen, die Stile von Afrobeats über Uk-Bass bis hin zu Rap und R&B auf ihre ganz eigene Art und Weise vorantreiben und Radioshows und Vibes kuratieren.
