After Hector's formative years in his Mexico home, he moved to London and became an instrumental part of Anja Schneider's mobilee and Loco Dice's Desolat imprints. It was through his association with Desolat that Hector truly cemented his place as one of the most exciting players in the scene.
In 2015, Hector flipped the script to help others by pulling together some of the most talented and underrated producers and DJs to form the Vatos Locos crew - the Crazy Ones - who came of age at BPM Festival in Mexico.
Hector’s ethos is focused with shining a light on up and coming talents, permeating into every avenue of Vatos Locos; the record label, the parties and the tours. He also took over and helped revitalize the club Hardpop, in Mexico, which was recently voted the best small club in North America by DJ Mag UK, also appearing in the top 100 in the world.
Thanks to years of dedication to his craft and a wealth of experience touring the globe Hector has become a highly skilled selector whose talents transcend the confines of the club and stretch out into the studio and beyond.
