His journey began in the mid-90s, initially playing UK Garage records and later establishing the RAJO club night with Johnny D and Nick Curly in 2001, contributing to Germany's thriving house scene.
Okpara's production talent quickly emerged, gaining recognition from labels like Lomidhigh Ltd, Drumpoet Community, and Arearemote. After a four-year stint in Berlin, he returned to Mannheim, solidifying his reputation among the house music elite. Back in Berlin, Okpara's Ama label consistently produces quality music, reflecting his love for electronic music. His DJ and live performances, along with affiliations with Oslo and Mobilee, contribute to his ongoing success. Ama Recordings, representing strength of identity and love, reflects Okpara's commitment to true house values, leaning towards the deep and dubby.
