Gamma Intel is out to surprise, both as a DJ and a producer. He wants to find unfamiliar nuances in familiar worlds. He looks to collide unlikely sound sources into something fresh. A meticulous studio craft is at the heart of what he does, but it does not define it. Above all he wants to make you dance!
The Dutchman has been on this quest since he debuted in 2017. Back then the music he made was very different from what he makes now, and what he will make tomorrow.
In the meantime there has been an ever-evolving stream of EPs and 12"s on the likes of brokntoys, Pinkman and Mechatronica, and now on the Nerve Collect label he has co-founded with good friend Identified Patient.
His signature in sound design, creative sampling or an interesting drum groove and draws from electro, bass, acid, d&b, broken beats and techno, always with plenty of attitude and we love it!
Gamma plays Europe's most clued-up parties and cult festivals like Dekmantel Selectors, Dimensions and Ombra Festival as well as secret members-only rave DT Camp in Lithuania. He is also focused on Nerve Collect: anything goes, of course, from jungle, d&b, electro, techno and dubstep, so long as it is rich in contemporary sound design that fires new synapses. Besides mentioned festivals he shared a mixpult with names like Pariah, Identified Patien, Dj Overdose, The Hacker, Nasty King Kurl, Roza Terenzi, Mad Miran, Dj Rum, Anthony Rother and many more, he also had a opportunity to play in bunch of important clubs in Europe quite regularly in last few years. For sure one of the most Interesting people on underground scene today!
