The new year brings the next instalment of mouth-watering, body-moving refreshment. Pluralist and Fliss Mayo are two acts we've been huge fans of for a while now and both truly encapsulate the Life Glug sound. These two have made their mark with their distinctive production styles and lively performances over the years.
As one half of the UK Bass duo Dual Monitor, Fliss Mayo has built up a portfolio of dark, looming tracks with an originally futuristic take. On the decks, her reputation continues to grow, as an enthusiastic and vibrant DJ. Covering all areas of the dance music spectrum, Fliss Mayo will leave no stone unturned.
With an appreciation for grassroots culture and an eagerness to seek out diversity in music, Pluralist has developed an incredibly unique sound. He tackles percussive atmospherics, syncopated beats and the mutating flow of techno, both in his own music and in his DJ sets.
These two will be bringing high energy flavours to the Lubber Fiend in January; blending smooth bass, seamless percussion and out of this world soundscapes.
As always, Schmuck and Product Toss will be providing support...as if it couldn't get any better.
