We have collected 6 1970s Klipschorn speakers from across Europe - 2 from Naples, 2 from Germany and 2 from a sitting room in Bournemouth. It’s been a labour of love and we owe our London friends at Brilliant Corners, Giant Steps, BATB + Cloud9 in Barca for the numerous nights of fun and inspiration over the years.
For those not so familiar with Klipschorn speakers - simply put; Paul Klipsch wanted to bring the detail and emotion of live musical performance into his living room. Now a staple in the homes of audiophiles around the world, installed in many public listening spaces and most famously at David Mancuso’s legendary Loft parties, the Klipschorn celebrates 77 years at the forefront of transmitted sound.
We have the wonderful Salsa Rose on food & cocktails, the infamous Dusty Knuckle supplying bread, 107 Wines (formerly P Franco) on vino & Charlie Dark on the 1s & 2s.
We’re kicking off at 3pm with late lunch / early dinner served as the December darkness sets in and Chris Tindall warms up the system. If you want to skip the food extravaganza then dancing starts at 7pm.
