Noise is healing in certain constellations, although it seems that it can sometimes be physically and emotionally exhaustive. Margaret Chardiet aka Pharmakon has been a member of many punk bands that have influenced her work and transcend into the international DIY music community. She is also the composer of the music for the films Transfiguration (2017) and Sound of Metal (2019). Bike Jesus is one of seven European tour stops where Pharmakon will "put up a wall of noise to protect her fragile soul".
Joining her on tour are Australia's Kollaps. Until The Day I Die is their third record, released last June. The uncompromising power of gritty post-industrial music told through overarching themes such as condemnation and redemption, violence, romanticism, sexuality and addiction.
For their Prague stop, we add gertie adelaido to the line-up. Debut album Immortality Betweeen Paranoia and Virus will be released in early 2024, but almost all of it has already been played live in support of Xiu Xiu, Leya, Dreamcrusher or at Creepy Teepee, Fluff Fest, No Glucose Festival and more.
Of course, we can't miss the representatives of the Prague crew Wrong. Nominated this time were Brut Raptor, which is a new project of Hyaen and C4AT in b2b configuration.
