After the closure of Idle Hands shop in mid 2022 and the subsequent rollercoaster of attempts to reopen, amidst stops, starts, and dead ends, emerged a glimmer of hope: the inception of a new label, radio show, and party series - Devil’s Work.
Driven by a dedication to prioritise the dance floor over business worries, the label has soared to its third release, secured a monthly residency on SWU fm, and lined up a numebr of parties stretching into 2024.
At its core, Devil’s Work reverberates with the same essence that fuelled Idle Hands – a celebration of Techno, House, Garage, Bass, and those magnetic strains of left-field dance music that simply click at the right moment.
During Idle Hands' hiatus, its boss, Farrell has devoted time to pushing his own DJing, aligning the new label's vision more closely with his current musical journey.
The Idle Hands Christmas bash was a perennial highlight, a sold-out affair heralding the onset of Xmas. With IH temporarily on pause, the mantle has passed to Devil’s Work to carry on this cherished tradition.
Teaming up with longtime collaborator Peverelist, an iconic figure in this scene, and Garoess. The night of Friday December 22nd promises an evening brimming with dancing and merriment.
