The time has finally come for us to celebrate our ten year anniversary, our tenth edition of Lilo River Flow, and a coming of age festival unlike any we have ever thrown before!
As with all Wolfkop Weekenders, we have taken this opportunity to expand as a brand, a family and a festival. Please make sure you join us from 18-22 January 2024 for a four day/four night riverside reunion that is sure to exceed even the most loyal of expectations.
As Wolfkop evolves and adapts to an increasingly competitive and dynamic festival industry in South Africa, we have decided that, after ten years, we will be retiring the brand ‘Lilo River Flow’. As the jewel in our annual crown, it is not a decision we have taken lightly, but we have decided it is time to close this chapter, on what has been a decade of frivolous decadence, dancing and dreamy river drifting. A short history of this event can be found below.
For our tenth birthday we are looking to the future as well as paying homage to our past. We have programmed four days and nights of music that is a true retrospective of where we have come from, and a nod to where we see the future.

Over 40 local artists will be announced soon, for the first time spread over three dance floors.
The River Stage
The heartbeat of the festival, the main floor and an absolute paradise for party goers whether you’ve got your feet on the dance floor or are floating on the water. A shade covered stretch of river ensures you can float the day away, and after dark see it transform into a mind-melting mecca of visual and auditory splendor.
The Beach Boma
The famous location for the start and the end of the festival, and a party-at-the-bar throughout the main event. On Thursday the Boma hosts the opening ceremony and we celebrate the 55th birthday of one of South Africa’s godfathers of the electronic music scene, G-Force. On Sunday night the infamous after party is set to see the weekend to a fitting close.
The Forest Stage
A brand new edition to the Wolfkop offering, an arena hidden in the Berry Field woods that will offer alternative sounds to the main stage and beach bar. On Saturday night expect the cream of the South African DJ crop to dig deep into their record bags to bring you sounds of disco cuts, funk edits, filtered house and classic house tunes. On Sunday the forest will echo to the slowdown sounds of Johannesburg’s favourite Sunday cerebral session - Apartment.
