From December 28th to January 6th, TROPIKALIZM BY BODY AND SOUL will be a season like never before in the Marvelous City, featuring some of the world's biggest artists and label parties in the most stunning locations in Rio de Janeiro.
On our opening night, it will be the RIO DEBUT of one of our favorite label parties, SOUNDTUARY, at Joá Jungle Rooftop, making this edition an instant classic.

The label, created by French DJ and producer Apache, was born in Miami with a concept designed for electronic music lovers. Fully dedicated to the fusion of sounds in a temporal sequence, united by harmony and rhythm. A party that transcends music, a series of immersive experiences with unparalleled energy!
In this Rio debut edition, Apache invites one of the world's biggest names, SETH TROXLER, along with the Argentine NIM, present at the world's biggest festivals, and Body And Soul residents, Marie U and Pedro Guerra.
Rio de Janeiro is experiencing hotel occupancy like never before in history, and we look forward to friends from Brazil and around the world at this Rooftop surrounded by the greenery of the Atlantic Forest and with a surreal view to create an experience more than surprising there.
Our journey will take place on Thursday, December 28th, starting at 8:00 PM.
This is an important point that we always like to emphasize: our events are based on small communities of friends from around the world, and this experience is for living Rio de Janeiro with some of the artists we love, in truly exclusive and memorable experiences.
On December 28, 2023, we will come together to celebrate life through music, with empathy and positivity.

Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and raised in Detroit, Seth Troxler emerged into the world after learning to DJ from his stepfather. Seth is descended from a family of cowboys and Baptist preachers, partly African-American, and developed a unique approach to seeing the world through the prism of musical culture. Today, he is one of the most acclaimed artists in the dance music universe.
This biography partially elucidates the artist's past, a path that took him to the most important poles of Techno and House, such as Detroit, Ibiza, and Berlin. Remembering his performances in Brazil, the iconic editions of CarnaRARA 2022 and 2023 are memorable, where the artist performs for free during the Rio Carnival with numerous heavyweight guests.

APACHE

Although born in France, it was in the United States where Apache based himself and conducted his career in dance music, learning from his own family the art of musical research with references from around the world, especially African percussive sounds and ancestral rhythms from various nationalities.
Because of this, his sets became known as a journey between Berlin and Detroit house, Afro house, and Balearic house (a style of dance music based on eclecticism and popularized on the famous island of Ibiza). He is part of the "Spiritual House" musical movement, i.e., house music allied with spirituality. In this sense, he can bring references from sounds of Africa, Asia, indigenous peoples, Latin jazz, and anything else that draws from sources of different civilizations.
Apache has toured the world in recent years and played alongside great artists such as Luciano, Guy Gerber, Damian Lazarus, and Black Coffee, in addition to being a resident in the USA, Paris, Brazil, and Tulum, and leading the super-party Soundtuary ("sound sanctuary"), which travels the planet on dozens of dates per year. It will undoubtedly be an unmissable presentation for those who want to immerse themselves in the immersive experience that Body And Soul and Apache can and will offer.

Five years ago, when his performances were with the duo Max&Nim, his relentless vocation for immersing the audience in progressive house spatial atmospheres was already evident. From this stage, the massive night of January 2017 stands out, opening for Solomun in front of 15 thousand souls gathered on the beach of Mar del Plata, as well as the residency that the artistic couple maintained at the famous Buenos Aires nightclub The Bow, promoting their music and establishing themselves in the memory of clubbers.
Then, parallel to the pandemic that shook all established structures, Nim accentuated his solo path, incorporating aspects of deep house and melodic techno into his sets, thus enriching his performances with new nuances that gave him greater brilliance. Influenced by great figures of electronic music, these roots are evident in each of his performances and can be felt in the rhythm of the music: Matthew Dekay, Craig Richards, Lee Burridge, and Eelke Kleijn are some of his inspirations.
Nim's constant presence on marquees of various events led him to be a constant presence in the warm-up dates of acclaimed international DJs such as Tale Of Us, Stephan Bodzin, Mathame, and the recent major Solomun event at Mandarine Park, with subsequent 12-hour after-hours with the Bosnian artist that set trends among environmental fans. In addition, with his producer Flama, Bravo is responsible for both exclusive environmentally oriented projects, such as the "Natural" party held on the banks of the Delta River, and large outdoor events, such as the Andromeda festival, held with great success last December.
His ability to capture the audience with immersive sounds and keep them vibrating in a magical limbo is one of the most exciting parts of facing Nim as a spectator. The dizzying growth of his figure from the beginning to the present ensures future stellar performances for 2022 and more recognition from both the public and critics. As if his destiny were to prevail in the Argentine electronic scene.

The address became famous in September for the "Natural Intelligence" edition of RARA, and now, with cinematic interventions by Body and Soul, it will have even more comfort and structure.
Soundtuary will be the debut night of the venue, which will also host RITUALS: FULL MOON INTO THE JUNGLE w/ JAN BLOMQVIST & BIRDS OF MIND; REVEILLON w/ LAOLU, AWEN, MOZAMBO, GUI BORATTO, and during Carnival, the already memorable ALL DAY I DREAM OF RIO CARNAVAL.

Our goal is to promote meetings of people seeking incredible experiences worldwide, letting themselves be carried away by the pleasure of incredible melodies that make powerful and exotic dancefloors. A concept created for lovers of sound and visual arts.
Among our experiences, Rituals stand out, which has already hosted Damian Lazarus, Pablo Fierro, AudioFly, Monolink, and recently, Birds Of Mind; Tropicalizm with Guy Gerber and Warehouse with Jan Blomqvist. During the last Carnival, we made history once again with Black Coffee and also with Diplo at Neon Jungle.
Everything here is carefully created, from the artists to the locations, where, together with a pulsating and vibrating audience, the event becomes a unique organism.
