Zepherin Saint, a renowned electronic music producer and DJ hails from the eclec8c city of London. Raised in Harrow, he was cap8vated by soul, funk, and jazz fusion records from a young age, finding solace in their ability to transport him to distant worlds. As he delved into electronic music, Zepherin seamlessly infused his produc8ons with soulful elements, drawing inspiration from his Caribbean roots.
With a keen focus on championing indigenous influences in electronic music, Zepherin established himself as a trailblazer in the industry. His label, Tribe, has played a pivotal role in pushing the boundaries of afro and soulful sounds. In 1988, he made history with the release of 'Give Me Back Your Love' under the pseudonym ‘Boyz in Shock’, credited as the UK’s first soulful house record.
Zepherin’s journey as a DJ has been a remarkable one, taking him across continents and even affording him the honour of performing for icons like Michael Jackson. It all began amidst the lively Soundsystem culture of London's underground warehouse par8es, where he honed his craX. From there, he’s been fortunate to leave a lasting impression on esteemed venues like Contact, Tresor, Watergate, Shelter NYC, and the Ministry of Sound.
