A collaborative event with AMBIENT KYOTO. "async - immersion 2023" by Ryuichi SAKAMOTO + Shiro TAKATANI, which is being exhibited on the basement floor of the Kyoto Shimbun building. The 26.4m x 2.7m LED screen installed for the work and over 30 speakers will be utilized for a collaborative live performance by four pairs. For this event, Marihiko HARA and Akiko NAKAYAMA will collaborate for the first time. And an audio-visual duo performance by Ken FURUDATE and Koshiro HINO, aka YPY, known as the composer of the band goat. Saeko EHARA, who has been presenting visual works combining AI and generative art, will participate in the performance by E.O.U., who has been attracting a great deal of attention in the club/rave scene in recent years, with her video. In addition, Kazumichi KOMATSU, who works between contemporary art and music, and jvnpey, an emerging visual artist, will collaborate on a performance. Experimental sound drifts through the vast space of the former printing factory with its industrial atmosphere.
