So we're half way through our first year at Grind and each month has seen some amazing guests accompanied by an amazing, clued up crowd. This month we bring down a couple of rising stars and friends of the Grind family to bring the party to Timbuk2.

Tim weeks
DJ and producer Tim Weeks has made quite an impact since bursting onto the scene with his debut release ‘The Fashionably Late EP’ on Toolroom Records. Following the success of this release, Tim was asked to complete remixes for Andy Caldwell, Lutzenkirchen, Leeks and Patric la Funk’s track ‘Restless', which stormed to the top of the Beatport download charts! Tim’s tracks have been supported by many of the leading names in the industry such as Richie Hawtin, Nic Fanciulli, Anja Schneider, Layo and Bushwacka!, Pete Tong and Mark Knight to name a few. DJ wise Tim has had a busy year including fantastic gigs at Miami WMC, Amnesia in Ibiza, Romania, Back to Basics in Leeds and The Egg in London, as well as being a regular atToolroom Knights events.

With a first class degree in Music Production and Engineering under his belt, Jay is heavily experienced with both analogue and digital studios. His debut release in 2008 through Jim Rivers’ Misfits label gained heavyweight support from such Dance Music stalwarts as Dubfire, Hernan Cateneo, Nick Warren and Steve Angello.
Currently enjoying success with a string of releases on burgeoning south coast label ALiVE Recordings, Jay has been credited with support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Yousef, James Talk and Joris Voorn. Jay has also scored a massive success with a number one DMC Buzz Chart placing of his killer remix of Groove Armada’s ‘I Won’t Kneel’, a partnership with his child hood heroes that looks set to continue in the near future.
This promises to be another quality night and as a thank you to our guests, the night will run for £5 all night!
