In the 1960s, Kingston, Jamaica was the birthplace of an audio revolution. In the dimly lit rooms of local studios, sound engineers crafted the art of dub with playful abandon. Was it a miracle or a mere experiment? This underground expression quickly spread to global music scenes, and its ingenious reconfiguration philosophy continues to resonate with listeners.
Our event, DUBSESSION, is a celebration that transcends time and space. We explore the diffusive, convergent, divergent, and amalgamative essence of dub music. Under the banner of dub and reverb, we unleash the bass and echo into a dark dance floor, where low frequencies ripple and diverse interpretations of dub intersect in harmonic dissonance.
