Lost Sundays ~ January 7 w. Jayda G, Barry Can't Swim & salute

  • It’s about movement. A movement. Our movement. ~~ A triple-threat this Sunday, January 7 as LS welcomes Jayda G, Barry Can't Swim and salute for a scintillating summer session. GRAMMY-nominee and professional purveyor of pure good vibes, Jayda G returns to Lost Sundays after last leaving an indelible mark with her infectious energy. Renowned for her uplifting track selections, her bonafide club anthems and her ability to effortlessly set the dancefloor ablaze, we're beside ourselves to have her back for round two! Next up: Edinburgh-born, London-based party-starter, Barry Can’t Swim. From Glasto to Printworks, Elsewhere to Phonox to the O2 Acadamy; BCS' signature jazz-infused production and meticulous musicianship have fueled this mischievous Scot's rise to become a globe-trotting tastemaker and party starter. Now touring in support of his debut album 'When Will We Land?', it's time to dive in - the water's warm (and the music is fantastic). Not to be outdone, the ascendant salute makes a much-anticipated return to the Lost Sundays booth. A regular destroyer of roofs at clubs and festivals across the globe (minted forever in their viral Melbourne Boiler Room performance); salute can back it up in the studio as much as on stage with hit records like 'Joy' and 'Peach' (with Sammy Virji) becoming mainstays in sets and playlists around the world. Rounding out what might be the lineup of the summer, we welcome Start Local Records co-founder Cleo as well as the return of Pixel Chick. Tickets are on sale now and are sure to fly out the door - be quick, see you there! ~~ From the people behind the Lost Paradise Festival and the Paradise Club nights comes Lost Sundays - an expression of rhythm and dance, each and every Sunday afternoon at the recently transformed ivy. With a diverse sound palette and a focus on championing high-quality local artists, residents and special guests, all are wellcome on our Lost Sundays dance floor. From the outwardly adventurous to the socially curious; Lost Sundays is an inclusive collective of characters united in motion. Come as you are, lose yourself and leave revitalised. Find your people, on our dance floor. Lost Sundays - every Sunday at ivy. --- We acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land on which we are located and we pay our respects to them, their culture, and their Elders past and present and emerging.
