Berlin based label Nocturnes heads over to London to make hay over Carnival weekend. Three London based talents in Ali, Ben and Matt join Nocturnes man JR Seaton.
Mr. Renault has put out all sorts of contemporary disco and freaky pop as one half of Heartbreak. His own strange dark house music has made ripples through the punk attitude of Dissident records.
Ben Williams has recorded as Gatto Fritto and Hungry Ghost. His recent 12" Don't Eat Apricots on the Uruguayan label International Feel has been playing a lot in the clubs of Panama and New York. Apparently there were groups of people on Osaka dancing to it too
Matt Waites has been hanging around and playing records with some very hip people over the last few years. He has also released music on Dissident. And remixed Robbie Williams.
JR Seaton has put out the 'peculiar record that had everyone in a flap' 'Vertigo' on Nocturnes. He is also signed to Relish and with his recent She Had A Wing EP, has kept his audience flapping around for words to describe whatever it is he does.
Look forward to a ludicrous selection of things to tickle your ears. No goddamn rules or expectations, just stuff to make you dance and maybe fall over. Might even try a game of badminton in there. Who knows.
