We're locked in for a major session for this New Year's Eve at Radar where we celebrate the start of a new year together with Harvey McKay, Samwise and Thorkell Máni at Radar.
Harvey McKay has created a unique and distinctive style of dark driving energetic techno music in the industry, becoming a respected name within the Techno community. The sound of his music productions and sets are instantly recognisable as “Harvey’s” sound.
He has played at some of the biggest dance music clubs and festivals all over the the world, with a residency at Space Ibiza during in its final season of 2016, Awakenings, Rotterdam Rave, Ultra Music Festival, Space Miami and many more.
Samwise brings his signature minimal tech/psytech sound to the booth, having just returned to Iceland after his India tour. Dark saw waves, bouncy basslines and driving energy will be the menu for his set.
In 2014 Thorkell Máni was exposed to Ableton, at the same time he was discovering the house & techno scene in Reykjavik. Invoked by the sound, his productions took direction. It wasn't until 2016 when he laid hands on decks and quickly started playing at after parties all around the city, which lead to opportunities such
as warming up for local DJ veterans and then, joining and co-hosting a radio show at Kiss FM Iceland with the well established DJ collective Vibes. Through the years he's been carefully shaping his sound and studying audio engineering.
