First ever NYC appearance! Hedonist has released many seminal hardcore records over the years and is most closely associated with the legendary Bloody Fist Records, which pioneered a DIY lo-fi punk approach to hardcore dubbed “cheapcore.” Expect tracker based lofi sample mayhem with plenty of humor. Not to be missed!
Doormouse (Addict, PRSPCT – Milwaukee)
The Milwaukee madman returns to NYC by popular demand. One of the pioneers of Breakcore, his record labels Distort and Addict defined the sound and led it to become the Tik Tok dance craze it is today. He recently released his debut on the Dutch label PRSPCT and headlined the Dominator Festival in Holland and Bangface Weekender in the UK.
Lenny Dee (Industrial Strength Records – Brooklyn)
Brooklyn’s own Lenny Dee is a pioneer of House and Techno music, with many legendary records on Nu Groove and Fourth Floor Records. You probably don’t care about any of that because Lenny Dee is really (in)famous for being the godfather of Hardcore with his label Industrial Strength Records playing a crucial role in molding the sound and scene. A legendary DJ, Lenny has continued pushing hardcore to a global audience, headlining recent festivals in South America, Italy and Holland.
Nevermind (Apocalypse – NYC/CT)
A founding member of supergroup Hellz Army, Nevermind has pioneered the signature style of NYC speedcore on his record label Apocalypse Recordings. Nevermind will be performing a rare live set. Expect unrelenting mayhem of the best kind.
DJ Narotic (Industrial Strength - The Bronx)
The legendary voice of speedcore, DJ Narotic, will grace us with his presence. Revered for his records on Industrial Strength Records with U.V.C.like "Step into the Pit" and his collaboration with Disciples Of Annihilation on the track "New York City Speedcore." Narotic will educate us on the true meaning of New York Fucking City Speeeeeeeeeedcooooooooooooore.
RTYPE (Teen Suicide Records – Queens)
RTYPE is a longtime DJ and producer.. He ran the underground hardcore label Teen Suicide Records and recently released his debut on the Industrial Strength sublabel Hard Electronic. RTYPE will be lugging a few crates of rare classic hardcore to decimate the dancefloor.
