The Keres (/ˈkɪriːz/; Ancient Greek: Κῆρες) were female ethereal embodiments of death, the Valkyries of Greek mythology. Imagined as evasive shadows with possessing teeth that whispered tales unravelling the threads of existence. They would hover over the battlefield and search for men at the edge of life – The harbinger of Violent transition.
In the arms of mortality, we find inspiration. Fear death, and life falters; embrace it, and liberty unfolds. The only way to deal with death is to transform everything that precedes it into art – a process that births inspiration for this edition of STYXX presents Ker.
