Greco-German indie label Iptamenos Discos is back in Vienna with another instalment of Iptamenos Discotek! Following the sold-out success of our first Vienna party, we are extremely excited to return to Sass Music Club’s holy grounds with another stacked lineup. Join us on January 25th, 2024 for a night of unadulterated energy and heat. Expect a sonic journey through the sounds of dark disco, deep techno, Italo disco and EBM, carefully curated by Local Suicide.

Kalipo, a prolific Berlin-based producer who is as stylistically inventive as they come. His dynamic portfolio contains five albums, as well as countless singles and remixes on labels such as Christian Löffler’s Ki Records, Audiolith Records, Get Physical, Heimlich Musik, Laut & Luise, Stil vor Talent, Otake and Antime Records. Bridging seamlessly the gap between house, techno and disco, his distinctive sound has made him a staple of clubs and festivals around the world. He is a founding member of legendary electro-punk band Frittenbude and and producer for beloved dark-disco queen Dina Summer. Alongside these, Kalipo has his own impressive solo project of diverse electronic music. His immersive live sets feature exclusively his own tracks, ranging from dark intensity to soulful joy, delivering an experience that is captivating and truly unique.
Local Suicide, the iconic DJ/producer couple synonymous with the Berlin sound, embody a powerful musical fusion. Hailing from Thessaloniki, Vamparela, and Munich-born Brax Moody came together to form Local Suicide, with a commitment to push boundaries and defy genres. Their adventurous spirit and wholehearted approach shines through in their sets, crafting a blend of new wave, acid, techno, EBM and post-disco - a genre they’ve coined as: “technodisco” and “cobrawave”. Their DJ ventures have carried them across the globe, igniting crowds at festivals like Lollapalooza, Melt!, ADE, Off Sonar, Festival Forte, Berlin Festival, and at virtually every club in Berlin. Brace yourselves for a masterful performance showcasing their pure love of music.
Wiener Planquadrat, expert crafters of musical experiences to remember - any crowd is in good hands with this Vienna based duo! Their sound is a beautiful coming together of their two musical backgrounds: a blend of indie, dark disco and nostalgic French electro. Their debut single, “Stillstand”, released in 2021 and found international success, quickly climbing both Austrian and German dance charts. Building on this success, their subsequent EP, "Dschungel," released in 2022 and was remixed by esteemed artists like T.Raumschmiere, Tech Support, and Birds. They are also continually collaborating with artists like Local Suicide, Oberst & Buchner, Kalipo, Dina Summer, Ali X and You Man. The Iptamenos Discos regulars are characterised by their luminous pads, spirited vocals and lively percussion. A Wiener Planquadrat set promises to infuse any dance floor with euphoria.
