- TEN YEARS OF TAKING YOU HIGHER! We will be celebrating our milestone birthday party at the post code where it all began back in 2014. Excited to celebrate with friends who we have made along the way and dance with many we love too. Thanks to those who have been part of our journey and for anyone new, welcome aboard! Has been a dream of ours for a while to invite this guest and we are elated that they have also come out of live retirement which makes this date even more special for us... The most personal is often the most universal. This probably explains why Marie Davidson’s work resonates with so many. Born in Montreal, Canada, Marie is an electronic music performer, DJ, singer and songwriter. Active for more than a decade, Davidson’s work is characterized by her idiosyncratic vocal delivery, and an ever expansive palette of sound. Renowned for her generous performances mixing hard-hitting percussions, haunting synth melodies and catchy punchlines. More details of oor get-together will be posted soon. <3 SYS is a QUEER PARTY so we prioritise those who identify as that and also welcome allies. All are encouraged to party safely and with intention. Take care of your friends. Support responsibility rather than encourage excess. Set limits on what you want to consume before the party. Don’t be ashamed to ask for help getting home, venue staff will happily help you get in a taxi.
