On February 3rd we strike down in our new hometown Berlin to celebrate 11 years of Our Society!
For this special occasion we will make our debut in the battery room of the capitals former power plant known as Kraftwerk, OHM.
Co-founder of the admirable genre bending AAITF, Dauwd will be joining us. A constant presence in electronic music over the past decade, the creative journey of Dauwd has unfolded with refreshing unconventionality. Born in the US to an Iraqi father and English mother and raised in rural North Wales, far removed from the club spaces he would soon frequent, Dauwd's perspective as both a versatile DJ and a constantly evolving producer has.
We couldn’t be more delighted to a part of our musical journey of our anniversary night.
Accompanied by one of Berlin’s purest voices, NM DJ.
One half of TABLOID Press, spins through a range of poetics – jungle and spoken word, ambient and interviews, disco and house. Putting their heart where their mouth is, we truly admire the work of Nat and we love having this multitalented artist behind our decks again after last year’s anniversary set at Refuge Worldwide.
As we truly stand for unification our own DJ Westfa decided to share the decks with Our Society fam Jaxx TMS for a first time B2B! Making multiple appearances at our decks last year she became a very important member of our crew. With debut sets at Boiler Room and Panaroma Bar she is definitely one of the Berlin locals who haven’t been unseen. As the two share a huge passion for the culture, we can’t wait to experience what these two will bring to anniversary.
Last but not least, Our Society co-captain Wendel Sield will return to Berlin.
Making his recent debut in Tbilisi and continue running his impressive label Obia Records, Wendel celebrates and honours the sounds that are deeply rooted in his and our history. Being a part of OS for over a decade, he has shown that he is truly the right person to translate our vision into music.
