For this edition of Nonstop we’re setting things off on the deeper end of the techno spectrum with Chicago native and recent NYC transplant Millia. Their mind-rippling, sultry take on the genre will give way to the slamming, psychedelic sounds of two of Australia’s finest exports - Sleep D. They’ve been lynchpins of the scene in Melbourne for more than 10 years and through their label Butter Sessions have become go-tos for contemporary dance floor destroyers. Following them is Nowadays resident and sonic sorceress, Aurora Halal. She’ll switch gears for her first appearance of the year with a rare all-hardware live set that twists and turns through pulsating, playful terrain. Amsterdam’s king of oddball party-rocking rollers, Identified Patient, does it up through the early part of the morning and anything-goes, musical mastermind Laurel Halo comes takes us through until the afternoon. From there it’s the Nowadays debut of esteemed London-based selector extraordinaire, Christian AB, the return of local expert in all things grooving and soulful, Cosmo, and a closing set from three of the brightest minds in contemporary dance music, Black Rave Culture.
