Effervescence returns to Bossa.
Commencing the night we have a special double act from S-R co-founder and Mutual Dreaming boss 𝐀𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐫𝐚 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐥 and Effervescence’s very own 𝘿𝙤𝙬𝙣𝙡𝙤𝙖𝙙𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩. With a shared sensibility for both thoughtful worldbuilding and sincere whimsy, there will be plenty of ground to cover in their 3 hour b2b. Expect anything from swirling steppers and abstract prog to drummy rollers and “DMTech bangers”.
When Melbourne (Naarm) luminaries 𝕊𝕝𝕖𝕖𝕡 𝔻 played Effervescence last year—dropping an all-timer of a set that got extended on the spot—they fell in love with Bossa’s low ceilings, thick fog and electric rowdiness. Tonight the Butter Sessions bosses are ready for round two, an extended closing set where they’ll weave heavy textures and mystic rhythms into an unforgettable ravey journey.
