For Tenfold's second clubnight, young stalwarts of the European dance music scene Harrison BDP and Aleksandir will be joined by local up-and-comer Boosay.
Harrison BDP reimagines classical house & techno arrangements by building colorful soundscapes that appeal to all five senses, often making use of analog hardware in the process. He was at the center of the outsider house music boom in 2016, and has refined his sound into a body-swirling, head-turning, synth-driven dub-house through the years. A prolific producer, Harrison has racked up releases on legendary imprints like Shall Not Fade, Berg Audio, YOYAKU and Phonica Records.
Aleksandir’s breakout hit “Yamaha” (2018) established a sound that juggles impact and emotion, and skyrocketed him to pre-pandemic world tours where he honed his craft as a DJ. With following albums on Church and Omena Records, Aleksandir has expressed his search for musical beauty within club music, with a focus on start-to-finish listening experience. His recent works build on that signature sound with more rapid tempos and less restrained drum arrangements, rendering his sets more energetic and less predictable than ever.
An Istanbul-based selector, Boosay takes her listeners on a journey towards the roots of electronic music, bridging new age beats and the origins of dance music. Having experienced Miami’s dirty club sound, New York’s underground parties, and Detroit’s resonating techno pulse, Boosay has embraced an eclectic range of rhythms. She develops a bond with her listeners through an improvisational flow of creativity. She is never shy of extravagance in her sets that often showcase gritty breaks and playful acid sounds.
