From the west coast to the east, we’re transporting accomplished California house music dabhand Max Styler to The Roof of Superior Ingredients, March 30th 2024. After he wowed us with his double-header performance alongside Tini Gessler in August, we’ve had to invite him back to wow us with his very own showcase.
Not only has he amassed a over a decade-long body of work that rivals most producers’ entire careers, Styler became a major presence on the EDM scene well before the age of 20. From juggling high school and studio time with DJing local events and school dances at the age of 16, it was on Max’s 18th birthday, that his big break came knocking on his door - a signing to Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak records with his single, ‘Mission Control’.
Since this pinnacle moment, Styler’s released on likes of Gorgon City’s Realm, Defected’s D4 Dance, Nic Fanculli’s Saved, Lee Foss’s Repopulate Mars, and a string of other coveted imprints with his genre-binding sounds. Whether he takes influence from aggressive trap to euphoric, retro-tinged house, his music is both danceable, emotionally resonant with the masses, and sure kick up a storm amongst the global clubbing scene.
