Daedelus:
A pioneer of electronic music culture for over two decades, Daedelus has been a key figure in Los Angeles' beat scene. With more than 20 LPs and a plethora of productions on labels like Ninja Tune, Brainfeeder, Dome of Doom, and more, Daedelus is synonymous with performative controllers, from the Monome to computer-free modular setups. Join us for a sonic journey as Daedelus takes the stage, bringing their unique sound and decades of expertise to the Future Instruments Festival. They were the founding faculty member for the Berklee College of Music’s new EDI (electronic digital instrument) program where they continue to teach. @daedelus
Dan Freeman:
Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Dan Freeman is a producer, bassist, and music technologist with a focus on integrating live instruments with laptops using Ableton Live and future instrument technology. Having played at venues ranging from underground Brooklyn parties to Carnegie Hall, Freeman is a seasoned performer and educator. Attendees can expect a dynamic and informative performance, showcasing the intersection of traditional instruments and cutting-edge technology. Freeman teaches at Berklee College of Music in the EDI (electronic digital instrument) program while also serving on the faculty of New York University’s Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music and the Juilliard School. @dan_freeman_music

Brooklyn-based 0H10M1ke is known world-wide for his one-line style. He brings an entirely live and highly analog approach to VJing. Focusing on the line while using the simplest design tools, he digitally graffitis the set. The frenetic energy of “drawing to music” directly on performers lights the space, creating a digitally drawn live visual score as the backdrop to the FIF Performance. @0H10M1ke
Jackson Lin:
Art Technologist, Jackson Lin, merges traditional techniques with innovative digital tools. Through interactive installations and mind-bending projection mapping displays, he pushes the envelope of what is possible in the realm of art and technology.
