- Home of the Drum is organised and curated by some of the founders and past directors of Audio Farm under a new vision and organisation. Welcome to the pulsating heartbeat of Home of the Drum, an intimate family festival spanning three days and nights, featuring five stages of art, performers, an abundance of live musicians, DJs, theatrical shows, healing group workshops, a kids’ area, and a whole multitude of oddities. Home of the Drum brings together a diverse assembly of ages and backgrounds, as we all revel as one and celebrate the essence of life. All set within the historic grounds of The Workhouse, Llanfyllin, a Grade II Listed Building that resonates with character and history. Each day, the entertainment, music, and workshops kick off at 10am, welcoming early risers and continuing until the early hours of the morning to cater to the nocturnal humans among you, as pulsating music, fire shows, and campfires blaze through the evening. Set against the backdrop of the school holidays on the 26th to 29th of July, Home of the Drum is not merely a festival; it’s a gathering of colour and magic, mixed with an abundance of varied genres of music and some of the best festival performers and healers in the UK. Finally, experience the grandeur of the Home of the Drum Theatrical Show. Set in a self-built mini amphitheatre, a symbolic Phoenix effigy shall blaze, symbolising a rebirth from past gatherings. This immersive spectacle features over 150 drummers, musicians, fire, and walkabout performers, crafting a 360-degree soundscape in a fiery display of theatrical brilliance. Join us in this unforgettable celebration of rhythm and rebirth… ///// MUSIC STAGES ////// *** Roots Stage On Friday and Saturday, the stage kicks off with alternative and eclectic beats. As dusk approaches and transitions to the early evening, the stage comes alive with vibrant, uplifting beats of deep and pulsating House music. On Sunday, immerse yourself in the pulsating rhythms of Reggae, Dub, and Afro, spanning from day into the night. *** The Mandala Dome Set in the geometric dome, the Mandala Dome features three days of live bands, spanning genres from Tribal, Folk, Live Electronica, Acoustics, Percussion, Funk and everything in-between. The Dome also showcases captivating acts such as spoken word and performers between the live acts. *** The Pulse A Techno journey that echoes the classic Techno sounds with pioneering rhythms. The pulse becomes the canvas for the 130-140 BPM tribal beat, creating an immersive experience that transcends time. The pulse reverberates through the early hours, leaving indelible memories etched for a lifetime. All set within the walls of the Grade II Listed building. *** The Nebula The Nebula Stage is the apex of high-grade bass music, a petri dish of old-school vibes and cutting-edge beats. Renowned and emerging artists collaborate to create an electrifying atmosphere. The Nebula vibrates inside one of the old rooms in the Grade II listed building until the early hours, where the timeless echoes of DnB shake the room. *** THE OASIS The Oasis is nestled outside of the Music Stages. This Oasis serves as a sanctuary, offering a place to unwind, chill, relax, heal, learn and centre your mind, body and soul. *** The Divine Fire As the evening continues and the event moves indoors, the chilled vibes and healing drumbeats, along with acoustic sounds, surround you as you sit in the mini Amphitheatre. *** Little Zen Den Three days of joyful activities, from kids yoga to drawing, forest school adventures, and engaging kids drumming workshops. *** Tipi of Fusion Beneath the canopy of The Tipi of Fusion lies a sanctuary for enhancing your mind, rejuvenating your soul, and harmonising your body’s chakras. Immerse yourself in a diverse array of therapeutic workshops, encompassing Kundalini Yoga, Guided Meditation, Shamanic Journeys, Gong Baths, and Cacao Ceremonies. *** Amphitheatre Experience the grandeur of the Home of the Drum Theatrical Show.
