For this edition, CDO has enticed inspiring digger and DJ, MICHE, to finally return to the Crofters rights and set off a Disco frenzy...
MICHE (Mr Bongo, Discs of Fun and Love)
A DJ with a love for deep dancefloor jams, Miche has fast become one of London's most exciting young selectors. At just 30 years old, he has already released two volumes of his own compilation on Brighton-based music institution Mr Bongo Records, been lead programmer for London audiophile venue Spiritland and co-founded reissue 7"s label Discs of Fun & Love.
Specialising in long and expansive sets that showcase his passion for modern soul, private press disco, Brazilian MPB rarities all the way to deep house and other forms of electronic music, Miche DJs regularly across the UK and Europe. It's a sound encapsulated by volumes one and two of his compilation 'With Love' - 16-track selections of "music with soul from across the world". Released by Mr Bongo, they garnered support from the mainstream and the underground alike, catapulting Miche to the forefront of a new generation of record-hungry selectors.
Alongside wonderkid Miche, Community Disc-O's resident ADMIN will be joining the party, armed with a disco weaponry and soulful bangers. Prepare youself.
