This is gonna be a fun one… We are so stoked to be teaming up to bring you a true gem from the east coast! Tangela has been a rising force in Eora’s underground dance scene over the last few years. From hosting a heaving Saturday night slot on the city’s iconic FBi Radio 94.5FM, playing headline shows, featuring on recent streams around the world including Boiler Room, Future Intel and fresh off her debut Europe tour playing club shows at Garage Noord, Le Sucre and POING to name a few.
She’s supported the likes of Donato Dozzy, Ben UFO, Call Super, Pariah, Jon Hopkins, Maara, D. Tiffany, OR:LA, Woody92 and Garçon; running events at her very own warehouse venue & throwing parties under d.street & club less; helping curate the line-up of Eora’s most exciting NEW new years festival Minutiae; and with a Pitch set looming on the horizon…Tangela’s name is impossible to ignore.
While her name has become so synonymous with the growth of Eora’s ever-blossoming dance communities, it’s her work on the stage that truly captivates. With a focus on depth and stripped back, bass heavy rhythms. Tangela plays across genres & tempos in unexpected ways, telling stories through intricate soundscapes. Tangela’s style pushes the sound for which Australia has become so known, in a variety of directions.
Whether it’s in the bowels of a DIY space, out in public, deep in the Australian wilderness, in the booth of a club, or at the front of it, Tangela’s versatile expertise goes from start to finish.
