Bei der heutigen Party geht es um House, mit einem Live-Set des Hamburger Duos gome, das für seine Releases auf Toy Tonics und seinem eigenen Label Snackwax bekannt ist. Sie werden mit Hardware spielen und liefern raue House-Sounds mit Funk, Disco und Soul. Dazu gesellt sich der DJ/Produzent Yuzo Iwata, der in Japan Partys veranstaltete, bevor er nach Berlin zog, wo er auf mehreren EPs einen warmen und gefühlvollen Sound entwickelte, der zu seinem ersten kompletten Album Kaizu führte. Abgerundet wird das Lineup durch Manolo, der an der US-Ostküste als DJ Fuß fasste und stark von den vergangenen Tagen der Paradise Garage und The Music Box inspiriert wurde.
Tonight's party is all about house, boasting a live set by gome, known for their output on Toy Tonics and their own label, Snackwax. The Hamburg duo will be playing with hardware, bringing you raw house sounds with layers of funk, disco, and soul. They will be joined by DJ/producer Yuzo Iwata, who used to throw parties in Japan before moving to Berlin, where he developed a sound based on warmth and emotion across several EPs, leading Butter Sessions to release his first full-length, Kaizu. Rounding out the lineup is Manolo, who gained his DJ footing on the US East Coast, heavily inspired by the bygone days of the Paradise Garage and the Music Box.
