The big green dub machine outta Sheffield
King Original Sound System was originally launched by the father of grime legend, Footsie in 1973. The sound went on to gain legendary status, becoming East London's biggest sound system for over two decades.
At the start of 2023, Footsie re-birthed King Original Sound System alongside Sir Spyro and Jah Model in honour of his late father to continue the legacy of the sound. As a crew, they combine the sound system foundation and knowledge passed to them by their elders with deep musical knowledge to deliver a fresh and heavy sound on their newly built QSS rig.
For their Sheffield debut, we are honoured to be welcoming them to Dub Shack for an all-night meeting with Sheffield's Sinai Sound System. Expect heavy-weight roots, dub and reggae; no gimmicks, just uplifting sound and vibrations!
