For the past couple of years, Fine Times has been building up a strong following on the Aberdeen underground club scene through their curated nights, brought to life by a collective of local creatives and musicians. Featuring a fresh line up of live acts, DJs and visual performances, Fine Times serve up a diverse mix of everything from ambient, dub and cosmic disco through to a fuller dancefloor workout.
Headlining March's edition, we're thrilled to welcome London based Tici Taci Records supremo, Duncan Gray alongside Welsh producer, The Long Champs (Lloyd Jones), the latter making his UK debut. Expect a dance floor filled with chuggy acid love.
In addition, and In partnership with Aberdeen Jazz Festival, we're equally excited to announce live performances from talented singer-songwriter, Aiysha Russell, and Glasgow-based duo 'SOOAKXA + Eye Suriyanon' who'll weave an ‘Aberdeenshire jazz’ infused live audiovisual performance.
Completing the bill are esteemed Fine Times regulars Nebyudelic Sound System and Nina Stanger along with a line-up of visual performers including Russel Dust, Olive and Anya, Maddie Edwards, Shae Myles and Jonny Bell.

Duncan Gray & Tici Taci bio:
With nearly three decades of production experience behind him, Duncan Gray can be considered a veteran producer and DJ. His first vinyl label was started in 1997 (Scatolological), he is best known these days for establishing the Tici Taci label with help from the late great Andrew Weatherall. Tici Taci has more than 100 releases and celebrated it's10th year as a label in 2023 with tons of special releases throughout the year.
Over the years Duncan has released tracks that have proved widely popular with DJs ranging from the Guv himself through to mainstream crowd pleasers like Boy George. As one half of seminal early 2000's electro band Sons of Slough Duncan played many live shows as well as DJing around Europe and the US, and released records on a wide variety of labels including Skint.
He's has remixed the likes of Andrew Weatherall, Primal Scream, David Holmes, Red Snapper and Yothu Yindi. He also played guitar on a number of remixes by Andrew Weatherall, and regularly contributed guitar and bass parts to a host of producers worldwide.
In recent times he has partnered with Sean Johnston as "Hardway Brothers meet Monkton Uptown": a mostly dub-based remix project but which has also led to the pair DJing together.
In 2023, Duncan and Ian Weatherall resurrected the Sons of Slough for the 10th Convenanza festival in Carcassonne in honour of Ian's late brother.
