We're celebrating 2 big anniversaries this March. It's our FIFTH birthday!!! Cannot believe it! To celebrate we've invited our man thatmanmonkz whose Shadeleaf record label is celebrating it's 10th birthday.
We mean to continue as we began so have invited Afrobeat band Olubindi to reprise their opening night headline spectacular. I remember thinking The Shrine had moved to Hackney. Jazz/soul singer Saffron Rococo is supporting with an expanded band. Kicking off the evening is beatmaker Idioteque with vocalist Sheba Q giving trip hop vibes. Our present to you. Hoping for some presence in return.
Eclectrik is a bi-monthly immersive music event. It showcases live performances from both emerging and established artists then segues into DJ sets enthralled to the 4/4 beat of House music but will always stray to its disco roots taking in jazz, Afrobeat, Latin rhythms and funk along the way.
