電子トライバルダンスとトランスのフレーバー、オーガニック音の邂逅、それがもたらす暖色の高揚感を追求してきたレーベル＜TOTEM TRAXX＞のパーティ・シリーズ＜MEiYOU＞。
その確立されたコンセプトに沿いながら、徹底した出音主義と技術主義、そして何よりも精神の越境を目指したキュレーションは、ハードかつディープでありながらも一種の愛嬌をともなう独自の空間を描いてきた。
今回、東京・幡ヶ谷のエクスペリメンタルスペース「Forestlimit」では初の開催となるのだが、ここに来て独特の拘りを持つフォレストリミットというヴェニューが選択がされたことには充分に頷けるものがある。
ラインナップには、Organic Houseの最注目人物であり、All Day I Dreamからリリースを続ける日本人プロデューサーYuichiro Kotaniのモジュラーシンセによるライブセット、国内有数の野外フェスティバル＜Brightness＞主催のTAICHI KAWAHIRA、オリジナリティ溢れるハイブリッドなDJスタイルに加え、マルチな才能を遺憾なく発揮しているRen Yokoi、サイケデリックな音質とトロピカルで官能的なテクノを操るFemale DJ、REMI OHSUGIという初登場且つ強力な布陣で、MEiYOUおよび、レーベル〈TOTEM TRAXX〉のポテンシャルを完全解放させる。
そして、MEiYOUクルーで山川ダンスサークルの主催者TARZANのタイ・パンガン島からの帰還など、シーンの中で傑出したタレントが1フロアで交わる。
このパーティのプライオリティの高さを支えているのは主催DO SHOCK BOOZEであることは紛れもなく、有機的な素材でビルドさせる巨大な音楽建築は、毎度のようにオーディエンスをその日の最高到達点へと導いてきた。
今回のラインナップとの音楽交換と競うような高め合い、臨海を臨む未体験への旅を期待せずにはいられない。
