On Tuesday, February the 13th, we would like to invite you to the concert of the “Temporary club” serie taking place at Jedna Dva Tři Gallery in the back of Petrohradská kolektiv. Carefully curated by Mojmír Měchura.
Time traveling and communication of sounds within space. Reality as a selective act of attention and interpretation. Inner dialogues, local and temporary configurations of atoms.The project started with duo of musicians expandcollapse & Aras aka Ester Grohová and Niels Doucet. They are telling improvised abstract stories in their sound essays combining modular systems, field recordings, voice, clarinet, looper and other instruments. During last summer the duo expanded into a quartet. Bringing over Marek Bozděch with his fusion of classical and jazz influences on the electric cello, and guitarist Adam Hencze, a.k.a. agent orange, a veteran of indie bands, that delves deep into sound processing alchemy.Together they build a surreal musical soundscape, a poetic essay whose utopian world is carved with tones from fairy tales and mythology and intertwines with reality.
