Funkademia takes place every Saturday night in Manchester to a consistently full house. Our resident dj collective and occasional guest taking you on a journey through soul, funk, disco and hip-hop with a few r&b classics and some big piano house. The night takes place every Saturday at Mint Lounge, a sexy two room club space with loads of atmosphere and a different vibe happening in each room.
The venue is located 46-50 Oldham Street M4 1LE, we are right in the heart of the Northern Quarter, close to lots of bars and restaurants, and a stones throw from Vinyl Exchange, Dry Bar and Afflecks Palace. Funkademia is Manchesters longest running weekly clubnight and celebrates 15 years in November 2010. We do sell out most weeks so it is advised to either buy advanced tickets or get done early.
