The ABLETON LIVE COURSE contains a series of workshops that focus on Sound Synthesis, Sound Design, Recording, Sampling & Processing, Playing live, Demo Preparation, Composition - and aims to show different techniques, non-conform workflows and creative approaches to electronic music production with Ableton Live.
The aim of the course is for each participant to produce a track, which they will then mix and master themselves using analog equipment in a professional studio.
MARCH - APRIL 2024, BERLIN
LEVEL: intermediate - advanced
NOT ONLY ARE QUEER AND BIPOC PRODUCERS STILL UNDERREPRESENTED IN THE (INDUSTRIAL) TECHNO SCENE, THEY ARE ALSO LESS LIKELY TO HAVE ACCESS TO EXPENSIVE AND TIME-CONSUMING PRIVATE MUSIC SCHOOLS DUE TO STRUCTURAL DISCRIMINATION.
The aim of the mentoring program is to not only create the fundament of a more diverse scene but also to offer free and easy access to knowledge about electronic music production for music producers affected by (structural) intersectional discrimination, so that they can deepen their production skills and learn new techniques in a non-hierarchical and non-judgemental space where participants can explore and express their identity and distinct creativity.
