Androosh Invites… a pop up residency at Paloma
Androosh invites is another series in the 'residency' format where Androosh will curate and invite an artist to join her for an evening of pure house music. All artists are those that inspire on and off the decks - they don’t just play, they give themselves to the music.
Every evening has a slightly different musical focus, bringing emotional elements and an intimacy to the music that really brings us all together. You will see a mix of both artists that can be considered DJ legends, as well as those that are just on the cusp of breakthrough. On both occasions, it will be an evening of discovery, bringing you back to the roots of house music where the beats have no limits and inspire creativity and togetherness.
My first guest who I’m honored to invite is Mike Starr.
British born-Berlin based Mike Starr has applied musical knowledge to his sets and productions for the past two decades whilst paying homage to the forebears that paved the way. Mike Starr is a firm fixture at the best of Berlin’s institutions including Berghain/ Panorama Bar, Tresor, Watergate, RSO, Heideglühen, Kit Kat Club, Wilde Renate, Sisyphos, and Paloma Bar. As such, Mike has actively infused his own unique blend of charisma and soul into both house & techno. DJing with musical precision, expertise groove, making sense of effectively driving a narrative within his sets, mixes and productions.
