Combo Breaker is back with another edition of SLEAZE... and this time, we've invited the king of next-wave-acid-punk, Curses. He's been on our list since the inception of Sleaze, so this is bound to be a HOT ONE.
We'll also be celebrating the birthdays of our own Venus in Foil and R-ODERICK, who will be joined by Sleaze favourite and 80's aficionado Milch.
Prepare for new beat, new wave and nasty naughty non-sense in a new and intimate venue.

CURSES (Dischi Autunno / Ombra INTL)
Berlin-based Curses blends New Wave and Post-Punk with his ghostly vocals and guitars, punctuated with flashes of 80's EBM and New Beat. Curses has released on labels such as Hoga Nord, Bordello A Parigi, Throne Of Blood, and his own imprint, Ombra International, and known for incorporating live guitars and instruments into his remix work. He is also the curator of the ground-breaking NEXT WAVE ACID PUNX compilation series, the tracks of which Combo Breaker residents continually rinse in their DJ sets ;)
MILCH (Invisible City Editions)
Milch is a Toronto based DJ, promoter, Invisible City Record Shop team member & Invisible City Presents programmer. She's a lover of all things off-kilter/leftfield, and her musical focus is an eclectic mix of wonky, wacky, wavy, balearic, synth, and 1980s oddities.
VENUS IN FOIL (SOAK / Combo Breaker)
Venus in Foil is a Toronto-based DJ and Combo Breaker co-founder, whose sound fuses everything from tribal techno rhythms and gritty guitar to slippery psychedelia and sleazy new beat. One thing is for sure, she’ll play something you didn’t know you wanted to hear.
R-ODERICK (Sonic Groove / Combo Breaker)
Combo Breaker co-founder R-ODERICK has been active in the underground circuit for many years under various aliases and is known to be one of Toronto's finest selectors, with a knack for all things dark. With releases on Sonic Groove, Pinkman and countless other labels, he's taking the world by storm.
