JAEL, also known as Giovanni Jaël Jano, is a multi-talented Moluccan-Dutch artist who, in addition to DJing, is also active as a producer, singer and live musician. JAEL was recently selected by Mixmag as one of the 'Defining DJs of the Year'. His sets are an energetic mix of genres, in which he spins records, sings and plays live instruments. He is a longtime member of the LA based music collective Soulection, which also serves as a platform and community for artists, musicians and fans from across the world.
JAEL has already toured the U.S., South Africa, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, but this is certainly not his debut in Paradiso either: in 2021 he performed live for the release of his first album 'Half as Much,' in 2022 he performed at Super-Sonic Jazz and last ADE at Parachute. He will be back in April for 'JAEL & Friends,' with the rest of the lineup yet to be announced.
