The Blend is set to celebrate over 2 decades of Broadcasting on PBS 106.7FM this March 15th 2024 at the Sub Club, featuring international guest SPECIAL REQUEST aka Paul Woolford.

The program name is borrowed from The Herbaliser (UK) track The Blend featuring What What (now known as Jean Grae), lifted from the Blow Your Headphones album (released on Ninja Tune in 1997). While originally started by Campbell (Bevin Campbell), the show has since grown to include co-host Emelyne and monthly resident Beatski.
The weekly program has become an integral part of the city's rich musical fabric. Inside the crew showcases a diverse mix of electronic music across the heavier end of the spectrum - from drum’n’bass, jungle, breakbeat, footwork, dubstep, grime, halftime, UK garage, IDM, experimental and beyond. The Blend has a strong emphasis on supporting new talent, along with the more established, featuring weekly guest mixes and interviews from both local and international artists.
Supports for the anniversary gig will be program hosts Campbell & Emelyne, plus Beatski. Expect a journey across all the heavyweight styles and tempos covered on the program, plenty of unreleased and pre-release sounds, as is customary on any given episode, and of course some classics from over the years!
